So now you have no excuse–invite your neighbors over for brunch this week, we dare you! This broiled grapefruit recipe allows you to impress them with your sheer culinary genius without adding any stress to the art of entertaining–honestly, it takes about 10 minutes. You’ll be able to truly focus on your guests, rather than worrying about your fancy frittata. And who am I kidding, these aren’t just a brunch favorite for our household–we had these beauts at least 5 times last week….

-3 medium sized pink grapefruits

-cinnamon

-turbinado sugar

BROILED GRAPEFRUITINSTRUCTIONS:

-Set oven to broil.

-Halve grapefruit and place face up on baking dish.

-Sprinkle grapefruit with cinnamon and turbinado sugar to taste.

-Broil grapefruit on high until sugar begins to caramelize.

-Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly.

-Serve and enjoy!
