SANTA’S LITTLE HELPER

unnamed

You know I’ve never met a Gin drink I didn’t like & what could make it better than putting a little holiday twist on a classic! Let me introduce you to my favorite Christmas cocktail – Santa’s Little Helper! Make your Gin & Tonic merry & bright by adding a few cranberries, fresh rosemary, and just a hint of vanilla extract. I promise this will have Santa’s Little Helper full of cheer!

INGREDIENTS:

3/4 cup fresh cranberries

1/4 cup white granulated sugar

1/2 cup water

1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Fresh Rosemary

Gin of choice (I used Hendricks)

Tonic of choice (I used Fever Tree)

unnamed-1INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In a small saucepan, mix together the cranberries, sugar, water, and vanilla extract. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, pressing the cranberries with the back of your spoon until they pop (beware–they’ll splatter!). Add the fresh rosemary and smash with the back of your spoon–this will release its aromatics.

2. To assemble the cocktail, add about 1 fluid ounces of syrup to each glass. Top with a few cubes of ice, 2 fluid ounces of gin and then top with tonic. Mix and garnish with fresh sprigs of rosemary.

Plus we are sharing the absolute best margarita recipe there ever was – the Pimm Town!

But for real, I am obsessed with this shoot. The team was AMAZING and I couldn’t be more in love with Concrete Geometrics planters. Get some of these guys and fill them with bougainvillea, eucalyptus, or ranunculus to create a really easy and fun asymmetrical arrangement.
