It’s Thirsty Thursday once again, and as promised, we’re sharing our second of three favorite sangria recipes with all of you fine folks! Last week we shared the delightful Stone Fruit Sangria & this rosé based sangria is it’s fun and flirty little sister.
To be honest, I never ever thought I’d partake in any sort of cocktail that centered around rosé –much less be encouraging all of you to try it out. However, thanks to a dear friend who just happens to be an avid rosé fan and an early arriving summer heat here in the desert, I have to admit that my tune has changed. I’m also a sucker for any sort of cocktail that comes with this amazing color palette!
-1 bottle of dry rose wine
-1/4 cup brandy
-2 tbsp raspberry liqueur
-2 tbsp sugar
-1 1/2 cups of fresh blackberries
-3 cups club soda
-Peel and thinly slice the mango.
-In a large pitcher, mix the wine, brandy, liqueur and sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
-Add the sliced mango and blackberries to the pitcher.
-Refrigerate for at least one hour.
-Just before serving, add the club soda and pour over ice.
